Usually, it is a bird that loves being around people and displays an inordinate amount of affection. Sometimes it's a bird that has a funny personality or demonstrates a unique ability to talk or tries very hard to talk. <br /> <br />"Goomba" is a name we have given to the baby Yellow Nape Amazon who is here now. He is weaned ready to go to his new home. We can't walk in the house without Goomba croaking to get our attention or struggling to say hello in a distorted gravely voice. <br /> <br />When he gets out of his cage, his favorite place is snuggled under your chin and melting into your chest. He's like a big friendly teddy bear with feathers. <br /> <br />We pride ourselves in raising gentle, good natured and loving birds. Goomba is the best example of this. If you know someone that is looking for the "perfect" bird, tell them about Goomba.
